Urgent – take 10 mins to help get an alternative VAWG strategy for men and boys
Things are moving one step closer towards a sensible solution for how to address sexual violence against men and boys alongside VAWG.
On 23 Apr 25 Ben Obese-Jecty MP proposed a parliamentary motion calling for Jess Phillips, Safeguarding Minister to introduce a separate and complementary strategy for male victims of interpersonal abuse and violence, as part of the ongoing refresh of the national tackling VAWG strategy.
The motion was accepted unopposed by the House, and will now proceed to a
second reading, which will be held on Friday May 16th.
We all need to urgently email or write to our MPs to ask them to attend, and support it.
It only takes a few minutes.
