  • The updated Terms of Reference were agreed upon, with the understanding that they remain an evolving document and can be reviewed if members raise issues.

Quality

Training:

  • If your organisation delivers training or consultancy for other services, please share details of any upcoming events with [email protected] for inclusion on the MSP website.

  • If you’re interested in collaborating with or developing training for other MSP members, please let us know.

Male Quality Standards (MQS):

  • Organisations due for re-accreditation will be re-accredited based on the current standards and will be contacted directly by Lime Culture.

  • Lime Culture has rebranded the standards, which can be viewed on the MQS page of the MSP website

  • MSP will contact accredited organisations to gauge their interest in the level of involvement in updating the MQS. We will share the information with Lime Culture.

Influencing

Home office:

  • MSP will draft a letter to the Home Secretary outlining our views on the VAWG strategy. Once completed, I will share it with all MSP members for your review and agreement. If no objections are raised, the letter will be submitted with all members’ logos.

Ministry of Justice:

  • MSP will draft a letter regarding the recommissioning of the 24/7 helpline and share it with members. Again, if no objections are raised, it will be submitted with all members’ logos.

Research

Prof Darren Langdridge (Open University) and Prof Mike Hartill (Edge Hill University) attended the meeting and provided and update on the Sexual Violence against Men and Boys Research Network (or SVAMB-RN).
