The CEO of the Male Survivors Partnership (MSP) Tania Woodgate, will be leaving her role in the organisation in December 2022.

Tania was recruited as CEO of MSP to grow membership, further embed quality standards throughout the sector, develop relationships with key stakeholders, government departments and other organisations with a role in protecting and supporting males affected by sexual violence and, most importantly, to develop a new three-year strategy that will help prevent the sexual abuse of men and boys and strengthen support for those already affected.

Tania and the Board agree she has successfully delivered what she was recruited to do and now is the time for MSP to move forward onto the next phase, where the focus of MSP must now be on the effective deployment of that strategy. We have therefore recruited Gary Pleece to help us do this.

Gary is a survivor and understands what support males impacted by sexual violence need. He also has extensive experience in building survivor’s networks heading up strategic and operational work with Mankind UK and 1in6 UK and, most importantly, he has relevant experience of developing and deploying strategies that deliver genuine change. Gary will become interim CEO of MSP from October 31st, 2022.

Tania and Gary will work closely together over the coming weeks to ensure a smooth transition and make sure there is no disruption to MSP members or services. Gary can be contacted on gary@malesurvivor.co.uk

MSP will continue to work with its members to improve the services for male survivors of sexual abuse across the UK.

The MSP board is excited to have Gary at the helm and thanks Tania for her dedication, skill and hard work.
